Oh God here we go.
Starting to regret getting an HD TV.
Waffle-wank levels already intolerably high.
Gove's horribly eager. Like someone trying to force you to stay to tea.
This is going to be the longest hour of my life.
Fuck is Javid doing with his arm.
Gove doing the same thing now. Who on earth teaches them this stuff.
Stewart has the advantage of being the only one who can sit on a stool without looking like a five year old.
Christ alive the standard of that shite.
And now Johnson with the fucking arm movement.
This is one of the most pitiful things I've ever seen.
Can Maitlis be PM?
Johnson commits to only a lovely no-deal.
Oh good. The technology.
Fuck my life.
Javid is never going to be able to unclench that hand again.
Technology from him too. What technology? No-one ever asks.
Maitlis having to say 'can you hear me' to Johnson, because he simply will not respond to questioning.
GATT24 the fucking bollocks.
Every single one of them looks like they're doing a poo.
Every second I watch this shit makes it harder to ever be patriotic again. This is a goddamn national embarrassment.
Nothing. No content. A bickering contest with no meaning over a fight in which none of us can vote.
Hunt has started shaking hands with his own finger.
They're all so unbelievably odd.
Johnson with a masterclass in the non-apology there. Tacitly criticising those upset by what he says rather than actually saying sorry.
Johnson tactic is just to talk and never let the journalist say anything, until it gets timed-out and debate has to move on.
Bludgeoning his way to No10.
Still. At least Hunt has remembered where his wife is from.
Javid pulled a blinder there trapping all the candidates into an internal investigation into Islamophobia.
This section on Islamophobia was actually worthwhile.
This is the thing isn't it. Quite apart from how unserious he is, how cynical he is, Boris Johnson is just not actually very good.
He's been shit tonight. Talking blithering nonsense on Brexit. Appalling on Islamophobia. As arrogant as he is empty. And then gibbering away at the end to no-one.
That was so so dreadful.
Really. I don't even want to imagine how many political panel discussions I've seen in my life. That must have been the worst.
Stewart tried to dominate. Came close once or twice, but didn't manage it. He needed this to be a game changer to stay in contention. Couldn't manage it.
I wish it weren't so. He's so superior to the rest he wouldn't even be visible to them. Would be healthy to have him and Johnson battle it out. But not seeing it right now.
Javid was the only one who had an out-and-out good moment on Islamophobia, but dreadful on everything else. He really needs to unclench too. Guy is going to strain something.
I've a soft spot for Gove because at least he has a brain, but he comes across, and I think is, deeply insincere.
Hunt a complete non-entity. Like inviting a child into the studio.
That was the political equivalent of the toilet scene in Trainspotting, but without the moment of transcendence.
I'm going to go consider my life choices. And then play Spiderman on the PS4.
