There's going to be a showdown in the Roger Stone case. Prosecutors say he violated his gag order with social media posts.
Stone's gag order was tightened in February after an Instagram post featuring his judge's picture and an image of crosshairs latimes.com/politics/la-na…
Prosecutors say Stone violated the order by posting about the case on social media and tagging news organizations.
"Stone’s most recent posts represent a direct attempt to appeal to major media outlets to publish information that is not relevant to, but may prejudice, this case," prosecutors wrote.
Now we'll see whether the judge agrees there's a need for a hearing, and how Stone defends himself then.
