And let's stop pretending that we've never done this before. Military units and equipment have been a staple in holiday parades across the country since before the founding. Usually NG and Reserve units local to the area, honor guards & bands in cities near a base.
The optics on this are different given the circumstances and the administration, yes, but this is not Tiananman Square for the love of God. Those crew members are probably not overly pleased to be there, but they are proud to be able to represent the US Army to the nation
With so many actual things happening that merit legitimate outrage, I tire of hearing about two tanks and two IFVs being used as a static display. I really do.
