AG of NYC writes judge for immediate status conference based on conflicting statements about the census from @TheJusticeDept and @realDonaldTrump claiming one court has jurisdiction over the entire Country. Should be noted another court gave an Oct deadline for printing.
For those following these cases @SecretaryRoss has been fighting non-stop and gone through many different litigations, it seems bizarre that DOJ decided to “surrender” considering SCOTUS ruling wasn’t a hard NO, it requested a solidified reason why.

Now @TheJusticeDept has been instructed to take it back..
"I think I'm actually being really reasonable here and just saying I need a final answer by Friday at 2 p.m. or we're going forward," the judge said.

Did DOJ’s Kate Bailey go rogue? You’ll notice she did not CC anyone else in the @TheJusticeDept despite the original email being written to over a dozen there🧐

If there’s been someone on this counsel that is “resistor” it’s quite possible they’re the reason these litigations have become so twisted, basically a spy BUT that’s a tinfoil hat theory.
In past communications emails have included the entire team.

The really shitty part is it’s possible yesterday @SecretaryRoss only responded based on what he heard from the @TheJusticeDept making him look bad when in fact it smells like a setup. @realDonaldTrump ain’t falling for it though🤣
