Where the rubber hits the road: Epstein's attorneys are going all-in on their "equal protection for the rich" argument, but in the Zarrab case, Berman also nixed the bail package because he was a flight risk.
The upshot is: Epstein's attorneys have cast court relief only available to millionaires and billionaires as an equal protection battle, and signaled a willingness to fight that battle long after Monday's bail hearing.
Zarrab did not ask to be locked up at the site that was raided as a crime scene, where authorities recovered "at least hundreds--if not thousands" of pieces of photographic evidence against him.
