Today’s raids, which will sweep up innocent children and families, will go down as one of the lowest points of a thoroughly immoral Administration that has shown itself to be devoid of decency. usatoday.com/story/news/nat…
Instead of ripping children away from their parents and separating families, President Trump should work with Congress on a bipartisan immigration plan that secures the border and provides a pathway to citizenship for law-abiding immigrants.
Instead of solely targeting those who pose a threat to public safety for removal, this Administration has chosen to rip families apart. This abject cruelty makes us less safe and goes against the values of our nation.

Every day we see evidence of the impact of climate change – forced migration, increased instability and food insecurity and declining economic growth. President Trump’s methane rule roll back is a gift to energy companies mortgaged on the future of our kids and the planet.
U.S. Farmers are on the front lines of the of climate change, facing increasing droughts, floods, extreme temperatures, severe storms and shifting pest and disease pressures. Farmers can also play a role in mitigating greenhouse gas emissions and storing carbon.
We need to support farmers to ensure they have the tools they need to be leaders in the fight against climate change.

@SenatorShaheen has worked tirelessly in recent months to press the US government to ensure women’s participation in the Afghan peace talks as well as preservation and promotion of women’s rights in Afghanistan post-US withdrawal, as laid out in her FY20 NDAA Amendment.
As Co-sponsor of @SenatorShaheen’s NDAA amendment, as well as author of previous legislation requiring DOD to report on women’s rights and security in Afghanistan, I am disappointed that this Administration is rushing toward withdrawal.

Today, the 9th circuit dismissed an appeal by the U.S. Government seeking to overturn a ruling that migrant children in U.S. custody must be provided with edible food, clean water, basic hygiene items and appropriate sleeping conditions.
The court found, among other things, that minors (1) were “not receiving hot, edible, or a sufficient number of meals during a given day,” (2) “had no adequate access to clean drinking water,”
(3) experienced “unsanitary conditions with respect to the holding cells and bathroom facilities,” (4) lacked “access to clean bedding, and access to hygiene products (i.e., toothbrushes, soap, towels),” and

One interesting thing about the Trump era is that he's showing us what's wrong with our political system and what we need to fix.

For instance: Despite all our preening about "checks and balances," there's nothing stopping a demagogue from tearing them down by lying.
The fuss is about Trump is too much about the man himself.

Removing Trump, alone, won't fix what he has shown is broken *about us*:

That we have a governmental system that can set up concentration camps and jail brown people with no due process or review.
- That we have a system that allows legislation to be passed about dumping toxic waste in streams, without any popular support

-That we have a government that fascists take over very quickly only using lies. We didn't even get the smart fascists! We got the idiots.

Had I been born before World War II I would have never seen my sixth birthday.
My sister and I always fought. And I was always a klutz. When I was 5, in kindergarten, and she was 9, we were fighting, and I was chasing her, and
2. I ran into the corner of a cast iron table that held a table saw. The corner poked a hole into my eyebrow, and my mom put some mercurochrome on it, a 1952-era patent germ killer that, basically, didn't work.
3. In a few days I woke up, and I couldn't see or breathe through my nose. An infection had set in, and everything above my mouth was swelled shut.
They rushed my to the hospital.

ONLY 2 factors decide if you make money & how much you make when you do:

1. Volatility
2. Liquidity

Volatility is a function of liquidity.

Too much volatility & no liquidity , you won’t get fills/ get out.

Too much liquidity will mean no volatility

There is a sweet spot /3

Today is the anniversary of the Battle of Saragarhi, one of the greatest last man standing actions in military history, when 21 Sikhs held of 10,000 Afghans against all odds, going down to the last man. A tale of sacrifice, honor and courage. #LestWeForget
To understand the significance of Saragarhi, one needs to take a look at the backdrop. The Afridi tribe had a deal with the British to protect the strategically important Khyber Pass for 16 years, who in turn created a local regiment composed of the Afridis entirely.
However the Afridi tribesmen, turned against the British, and began to capture all the outposts in the Khyber, espeically on the Samana Range near Peshawar. Saragarhi was one of the posts, here, manned by the Sikhs. The British started the Tirah campaing in response.
