Someone tweeted about the cost of oxygen in the hospital and thanking God we are breathing for free I.e healthy.
People tackled him saying “what shud those breathing with oxygen masks say?” And “May we not rejoice over the misfortune of others” Etc.
This is a bitter mindset...
A mind set like this can twist anything into negative. Letting people know WHY they should thank God for certain things doesn’t mean let’s look down on those in such situations. I see this as part of twitter wokeness and it’s annoying
That tweet was put out there for the lot of people who take the “little” things in life for granted. They see no reason to be grateful. It only takes one trip to the hospital (maybe to see someone) for them to have a total change of perspective. But should it always get to that?
Thanking God we are not in a situation DOES NOT MEAN “thank God those other people are in it”. Stop it, please.
That’s how woke people “woke” up one day and canceled the old “some have food but cannot eat” song because “we are rejoicing over others’ misfortune” I repeat, this is a bitter mindset.
David constantly thanked God for bringing taking him to the top from a nobody. Woke people - you’re rejoicing over those that are still nobody?
He thanks God for how in the midst of death, he’s still alive. Woke people - you’re rejoicing over the death of people?
May God help us.
