This is why you must not ever install #FaceApp. I have tried to perform an autopsy of the long and boring terms of usage and the creepy privacy policy. Please read the entire thread if you care about your privacy

Faceapp not only tracks you, but the also allows the advertisers to track your content, which includes pretty much everything from your device including messages, photos, videos, list of other apps, billing information with your play store account

You also give faceapp irrevocable access for using, modifying, publishing and selling your 'content' once you install faceapp. Which means once you install the app, developers own pretty much everything on your phone.

This is not over!! If tommorow if they decide to sell the company to any silicon valley giant like Facebook, your content "may be among the items sold". The line "you will continue to own your user content" afterwards is much same as "Your dog is dead but you still can keep it"

This is getting more interesting!! They can store your data in any country where they can maintain facility, and they may transfer your data to the country that may have different laws for data protection. That means if they choose to store the data outside EU, GDPR doesn't apply

I did some digging and found the registered address for FaceApp. They have "fascility" at

Yes. They are storing and selling your data from Russia and there isn't much you can do about it.

Last piece, they may collect device identifies that uniquely identify your device along with hardware information and they again "may" share to advertisers and affiliated business partners..

Although I'm not legal or cyber expert, this is good enough for me to keep away from the app.

Faceapp is costing you a terrible price for your sixty years old face. If you already have installed the app, please remove it to stop further damage to your privacy.
