They claim to be completely "offline credit scoring engine", but this doesn't change the fact that users installed Trucaller to block phone calls.

tl;dr: India needs a Data Protection Law, and it needs it badly.
Update 1. Clarification from Walnut. Their SDK is also entirely offline and doesn't share data back with Walnut.
It just helps TrueCaller read your SMS and check your credit worthiness. What they do with this data is b/w you and TrueCaller.
