@impactology @InstSocEco No #DualPower movement will be successful without engaging with labor in a prefigurative fashion and building out on a new world within the shell of the old. We must capture folks’ imagination while simultaneously offering up alternatives at an institutional, socioeconomic level.
@impactology @InstSocEco WSDE co-ops formulate one of these institutional “alternatives,” and in tandem with a program that emphasizes the importance of moving toward need-based production, as well as Community Land Trusts, Credit Unions, Workers’ Councils, etc., can be a huge part of a working model.
