Let’s take a moment to break this video down and explain how both patriarchy and Capitalism are plaguing not only the women that this very man is harassing in public, but the man himself.

A thread...
1) Most likely a sense of entitlement that flies back in his face when women degrade him for his height over dating apps and in other spaces (he prob says rude or inappropriate things and gets “low blow” responses from women who hope it will dissuade him from repeating behavior).
2) Projects that degradation onto all women because he feels rejected by all women for his height (and probably other things), but loses the fact that women don’t (and never did) owe him anything (an idea that runs directly contrary to what men have been taught under patriarchy).
3) Feels he has to overcompensate for his height by appearing more “masculine” and “strong” (a “dominator”), an idea instilled in him through our patriarchal society’s idea of what it means to be a “man” (peep how quickly he is willing to fight those chastising him for his acts).
4) Says “You’re not god, or my father, or my boss” to the men chastising him, indicating he has no problem being subservient to those with more “power,” a concession to intertwining systems of domination, namely patriarchy and Capitalism.

All the dominators he names? Prob “men.”
5) The man stands in, what looks like, a capitalist business in which the workers being harassed have less say/control, and therefore feel less empowered to boot the man for his rude behavior earlier in the transaction, and thus take his verbal harassment until customers step in.
The man is dominated like others but feels an extra desire to dominate himself due to how patriarchal standards of what it means to be a man have set him up for failure, tricking him into thinking he is simultaneously entitled, “less than” for height, and that he must “dominate.”
The designs of our capitalist institutions not only allow, but encourage this behavior in all men, because they are built upon a foundational idea of hierarchical domination (in all ways, meaning both socially and economically). Some who see themselves as “insufficient” lash out.
Throw some white supremacy and the social construct of “race” itself into this, and you have the perfect cocktail mix for some domestic terrorism.

Here, we witness both the emotional and physical destruction of others, and the emotional and physical self-destruction of the man.
In the video above, the man ends up on the floor... with another man on top of him, physically responding to the verbal harasser trying to project dominance, and most likely trying to project dominance himself...

A comical scene in this context, but a disturbing scene in others.
