Jordan Anchondo died shielding her 2-month-old son from gunfire in El Paso- her aunt, Liz Terry, told CNN. The baby survived.

The 24 y/o mother of three was shopping for back to school supplies when she was murdered.

Her husband, Andre Anchondo, is still unaccounted for.

This quote from Jordan Anchondo’s aunt Liz Terry:

"The baby still had her blood on him. You watch these things and see these things and you never think this is going to happen to your family. How do parents go school shopping and then die shielding their baby from bullets?"

“We are just hoping and praying we find Andre alive. Any little hope that we can hold on to, that's what we are doing."

Liz Terry, aunt of Jordan Anchondo, has confirmed to CNN that, Jordan’s husband, Andre Anchondo, has also been confirmed dead in the El Paso shooting.

Their three children—ages 5, 2 & 2 months old—lost both of their parents...

As Jordan used her body to shield her 2-month-old son, Andre jumped in front, putting his body between them and the bullets.
