BS platitudes are a convenient way to skirt hard truths.

Guns played a much larger role in our society 100-150 years ago than they do now.

Yet, mass shootings are a modern phenomena. We are the problem, not guns.

Our culture, our minds, our values, or lack-thereof.

It's us.
When you devalue human life and weaken the human connection, societies become more violent and less humane.

This is not difficult, folks. The law cannot fix this.

Laws are merely a reflection of a society's values. Brush up on your Cicero.

Btw, that's just in reference to mass shootings. Forget that they represented about 2% of all daily murders on average in the last 6 years.

Like I said, "we" are the problem. Who we've become is the problem. Not laws or inanimate objects.
