I'm often asked "What can I do about climate breakdown?"
1 Use your voice
2 Join together
3 Walk the talk
4 Engage politically
5 Take care of yourself
6 Get courageously creative

All "individual" action helps w "collective" action, and all "collective" action comes from people.

1 Use your voice. Talk to everyone! And listen to them. Understand where they're coming from. Don't be afraid to let your climate emotion show.

Use your voice skillfully, and increase your platform to reach as many people as you can.

2 Join together. You can't do this alone! Also you'll go mental if you try. Join climate action communities to supercharge your voice - when we speak together, we cut through the noise.

Joining with others, your climate action becomes more skillful. Plus, friends.

3 Walk the talk. Supercharge your voice!

This is what most people think of as "individual action." Keep in mind that you're doing it for 2 reasons:
+ To shift culture and unlock collective action
+ Once you know how serious the crisis is, you don't WANT to burn fossil fuel!

4 Engage politically. Do much more than vote! Support climate candidates. Run for office yourself. Protest.

And yes, it's time for nonviolent civil disobedience: the entrenched power structures are rapidly driving us to the end of civilization as we know it.

5 Take care of yourself. If you break down, you can't help limit climate breakdown. Get enough sleep. Exercise. Eat well. Take time with friends, or just veg out when you need it.

And find a "spiritual" practice that reduces your anxiety and your ego. Whatever that is for you

6 Get courageously creative AF. Only you know what this means, for you. Use your networks and your unique superpower(s). Call in favors, get inspired. Don't hold back!
