In 2016, a woman filed an affidavit claiming Trump & Jeffrey Epstein raped her at a party when she was 13.

Another woman who worked for Epstein claimed she witnessed it.

Epstein, under the custody of Trump’s federal government, commits suicide.

How weak and impotent must Donald Trump & his Justice Department be if citizen Hillary Clinton can still manage to get into a federal prison with the most notorious inmate in the country & murder him right under Trump & Bill Barr’s nose? What a stealthy, nasty woman.
To be clear, I’m not saying I think anyone murdered Jeffrey Epstein or advocating any conspiracy. But if you were going to advocate a conspiracy, then it seems you’d start with the people who have him in custody, not with a retired citizen who no longer has any federal powers.

People, & some in national media, keep citing Trump’s “increasingly divisive rhetoric” to explain their moves toward being more critical of him. But this is rests on a fallacy: That Trump is somehow more divisive now than he was on June 26, 2015. Let’s stroll down memory lane. 1/

This tactic of attributing precise descriptions of Trump’s follies to women is like if Obama supporters had decided to spend 2012 shouting,
“Mitt Romney is a black man doing black man things & giving out free healthcare & he shouldn’t be within 10 miles of the Oval Office!”
Kamala Harris does say Russia exploits American hate+racism for its own gain. As I reported her saying last year:

“Check it out: The Russians know racism & other forms of hate have always been America's Achilles heel & we need to deal with that weakness.”

She was right, of course. We’ve known for a while that Russia ran ads in 2016 aimed stoking white racial anxiety/outright racism, and also ran ads trying to stoke anger & rage black Americans as well over injustice.

The fear I witnessed among Latino communities in Forest, Mississippi this weekend reminded me so much of the aura of terror in the days after 9/11. The isolation. The dark rumors of attacks at local stores & schools. The way any horror seemed plausible. 1/

Days after 9/11, I remember a woman told an in-law’s mother that she had given an Arabic man money to pay for something at a store, & he’d returned the kindness by telling her Al Qaeda planned to poison the nation’s Coca Cola supply. It was all made up. 2/
Some family members reacted by pouring out 2-liter bottles of Coke.

It sounds crazy & like xenophobic hysteria now, but we’d just watched 2 planes fly into buildings we thought would safely stand forever. Nothing made sense. Anything seemed possible. We felt besieged. At war. 3/
