"What kind of cpc should I be getting?"

This question often comes from beginners that don't have the right mind set.

You shouldn't be thinking about cpc.

You need to think about the bottom line.

Let me explain 👇
When you are running ads to a product or service, the cpc for your ads can very significantly depending on what/how you are selling it.

But at the end of the day, the most important thing is having a positive return on your ad spend.
This should be your main focus.

Not focusing on having a cpc below X.

Having a low cpc is not required to have profitable performance.

You could have a $3 cpc and still be wildly profitable if your offer converts.
When starting out, I never know for sure what my costs will be.

I get a baseline for things after a few days.

But the best performing audiences and ads aren't always the ones with the lowest cpc.
Which is why it shouldn't be a huge focus for you right away.

Once you have a store that's up and running profitability, then you can start to think about different ways to lower your cpc.

But until then, worry about figuring out what converts.
