What's hilarious about THE HUNT getting cancelled is it's obviously a conservative fever dream of victimization made manifest. It's a Newsmax fever dream of "real America" murdered by "liberal elites."
But its target market can't distinguish anymore between fact and fiction.

The idea of this being an entertainment made to appeal to anyone on the left of the political spectrum is like suggesting GREEN ROOM was made to appeal to neo Nazis.
From the trailer it seems a toxic entertainment to give to a demographic who've burdened themselves with a narrative of false oppression, and who are clearly itching for a violent confrontation if not outright civil war, so I'm glad it's not going to be screened, but ... man.
