The Democratic debate donor qualification rules make me feel like I’m watching this terrible magic trick where candidates are taking big stacks of money, putting them inside a pine box marked “FACEBOOK,” sawing it in half, and then opening it to reveal tinier stacks of money. 
Anyway it’s one thing to shrug off donations from big corporations but it’s another thing to swear not to shovel small donors’ money into Mark Zuckerberg’s pockets because he’s still running the world’s biggest turnkey-candidacy machine.
