All the media does, all they ever seem to do is imitate government posture. And when something happens that they never raised as a possibility - Theresa May's resignation - they wipe their memory of everything they told you for the last three years.
So now the media imitates Boris Johnson's posture, when five minutes ago they were all imitating Theresa May.
