Boris Johnson is already losing the general election, which means we probably are going to get a Corbyn government of some description in the next couple of months.
The Tories are this close to losing the union at the moment, and getting closer by the day because nobody is confronting them with the consequences of their behaviour.
All it needs is a Corbyn government to give the Scottish parliament permission to hold a referendum, and that's it. And the United Kingdom is pretty much over at that point.

The Tories are this close, and they just don't see it, do they?

Why don't you want an election, though? You can see it coming, but you don't want it. Why?
Prorogation will be followed by a Queen's speech which will not get through parliament, and a general election will follow.
Why does that frighten so many people?
Are you frightened because you don't think the policy you want is going to be available?
That can't be right because the Lib Dems want to stop Brexit. You can vote for them.

People say they want to stop Brexit, and that's fair enough, but they've never given any thought to how that might come about.
Like it's supposed to just happen out of thin air.
The only way you're going to stop Brexit is with a general election, and I can't understands why this is so hard for Englishmen to grasp.
Honestly, you all sound like babies sometimes. Boris Johnson can't survive politically if he fails at the very thing he forced Theresa May to resign when she failed before.
That is political reality. If he fails as she failed, he will have to resign as she resigned.

Over the last two years parliament has voted against everything. Whatever you want it to do, it's going to need a new session,which can only be started with a Queen's speech, which will not get through this parliament.
This parliament has reached a dead end. It can go no further.
Yet so many stagnant middle aged ghouls are still obsessed with this idea that parliament is going to vote for their English gentleman's Brexit.

It is highly likely that we shall have three prime ministers this year, and that by the end of it the Conservative Party as we’ve known it will have ceased to exist. It is also likely that by year’s-end we shall have either revoked our notification to leave the European Union or
committed ourselves to a fresh referendum. None of these outcomes is certain but each is more likely than not.
I reach what may sound like three wild conclusions by the application of logic to the situation we’re now in.
