And are lists used for anything other than swarm harassment these days, outside of ER journal/other situations?
I agree lists CAN be used for good. But you should be able to block yourself from a list and/or block all subscribers. Because they are used for the worst forms of abuse far too often.
If you’re not a victim of this kid of list count yourself lucky.
Going through the lists that I'm on. Twitter makes this impossible to do easily. Already found two named "Quakers" though, so there's that. --signed, actual Quaker.
Twitter could give us a tool whereby we could sort lists by people we follow/people we've banned/people who've commented at you + number of followers to make it easy to figure out which ones were being used to swarm.
Of course some people make it easy to guess
