The idea of #UroSoMe came up in late 2018 and we gathered a group of urologists who are very committed to this. It is not easy to build up #UroSoMe, and it is even more difficult to sustain it. We share a common vision and that is the major reason that keeps #UroSoMe going..(2/n)

We have continued to organize a number of online events and the degree of interactions and engagement has been overwhelming. Every online event was to attract more than 1000 tweets and @gudaruk has made an excellent summary @uaa2019 as a poster presentation. (8/n) #UroSoMe

We held online events including #LiveCaseDiscussions, #LiveForum, #LiveJournalClub and #LiveDebate. In particular, we had some great discussions (#LiveJournalClub) on research priorities in bladder cancer, and the results were published @EUplatinum. (9/n) europeanurology.com/article/S0302-…

We have also made so many friends through #UroSoMe. These are the precious moments when you finally see familiar faces in person. It is amazing how #UroSoMe brought us (from all over the world) together! (10/n)

On 31st December 2018, we have set a number of resolutions for #UroSoMe in 2019. We are proud to say that all resolutions have already been met. As the momentum keeps building up, we think it is time to bring #UroSoMe one step forward.. (11/n)

The IDENTIFY study by @BURSTurology is a great example of how social media can facilitate research work. This is also what #UroSoMe would like to achieve in the future. Bringing the urological community together, collaborate and ultimately benefit patient care globally.. (12/n)

Surveys, Sourcing of data, Systematic reviews and meta-analyses, Social media analytics, Social media outcomes research, Safeguard of misinformation.. There are so many ways that #UroSoMe can help, and so many areas that deserve so much more research work in the future. (13/n)
