(1,6) One of the biggest @NRA lies is the "Slippery Slope" argument. They have used this argument to keep gun safety legislation from being passed. In fact, the Current Occupant Of The White House uses this argument. IT IS A LIE.
(2,6) We have been on a slippery slope for years of loosening gun laws. We see that with open carry. This photo with @MomsDemand is an example of the slippery slope. Some may call this open carry, I call this Open intimidation allowed by law. 
(3,6) How do we know good guys from bad guys. We don't and that is why we need background checks and ERPO's. Rather than agreeing on basic things like this, you have @GregAbbott_TX furthering the slippery slope by enacting laws today that only weaken gun laws in TX.
(4,6) As Texas becomes a state with an increasing gun violence death rate, you have Representatives such as @RepMattSchaefer who spew crazy rhetoric in support of the NRA slippery slope. He forgets about our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness in a free society.
(5,6) We have rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Because of this NRA slippery slope that lead to unfettered access to assault weapons and ammo, open carry, PLCAA, and other tactics our rights are no longer secure.
(6,6) AMERICA, DEMAND @senatemajldr call the Senate back NOW and DEMAND that we do the work of ending this slippery slope so that our rights to LIFE, LIBERTY, and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS in a free society are restored.
