An enterprising journo should look up Indiana law and the doctor's patients and find out if the doctor had the patients who came to him for abortions sign a donation agreement under the anatomical gift act, and if so to whom (him, or the clinic).

tl;dr: it is perfectly legal to own anatomical specimens in most jurisdictions but to *prepare* anatomical specimens requires they be donated in accordance with state and federal law.

Curious if Dr. 2000 Fetuses did that.

whoa: that bill bans an individual from acquiring, receiving, selling, or transferring fetal tissue.

Unlawfully transferring or collecting fetal tissue is a Level 5 felony in Indiana. i.e., 1-6 years in prison, up to $100K fine.
