Perhaps the one thing that helped me the most was my helpless situation. Poverty was supposed to be a disadvantage, but not after i met the Holy Spirit.
There were many things i did because i needed to eat or meet a need; this is by no means an excuse for the wrongs i did then

But it motivated me to hold on to the coattails of the Holy Spirit. I was either going to ride that wind of grace or wait for another stirring of the pool! I changed my prayer time! I calculated that since my encounter was at night and I woke up to meet with him around 5am

That must be the time He meets with his children! (Of course, I was wrong but it worked those early days) I would sleep early, woke up at 3am to worship and pray till 5am! Then I will lay on my bed, silent and expectant! He always showed up! He always honoured my yearning heart

Sometimes he would tell me what would happen at our fellowship meeting that evening!
Sometimes he would go philosophical
Sometimes he would explain a scripture to me and show me what really happened if the context was historical!
I asked Him questions!
I had so many questions!

My ministrations on campus changed
I had this freedom in my heart
I was no longer faking it
I have seen the Lord!
Hallelujah!
I thought I was going to be a "pastor"
He said No!
He said you will be a "Teacher" to many teachers of the gospel
You will guide many into their harvests

The complicated relationship i had at the time was miraculously dissolved!
The lady saw me after I met the Lord and said "You have changed! You have become born again! I don't want to marry a pastor and she left!"
This was a lady who made me swore an oath never to leave her!
Wow!

I stopped running and hiding my sins!
I confessed them and apologised to those i offended! In some cases, i faced severe punishment but i did all this with joy!
I had to settle with the past
I needed to be able to say on a day like this
"Who's donkey or sheep have i taken?"

The 5AM ritual went on for many months!
Until one morning the Holy Spirit took me to a school in a VISION and enrolled me as a student!
Of course this might be my imagination at work but the things I learnt in this school from 2008-2016 are serving me well in ministry today

There are thousands of people who have benefited from my encounter with the Holy Spirit! I don't pastor a church and I am not looking for members or tithe! I have lacked nothing since I started walking in my inheritance in Christ! The source of the living water does not thirst!

I share my experience to encourage a brother or a sister out there who is walking with the Holy Spirit or desires to walk with the Holy Spirit!
You don't need to consult mediums or get into occultism to walk in the supernatural!
You don't need to fast until you're all bones too

Accept Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour, get filled with the Holy Spirit and get into the Word! Pray in the Holy Ghost daily and obey the reality you see in the word of God
"Whatever He tells you to do, do it"
The pneuma will carry you to high places of glory in no time!
