Cops pulled me over for fake reason, cuffed me, told me they smelled pot and that they had probable cause to search my car

They then "found" weed and demanded I confess. I refused.

They found my dad's firefighter emblem in the glovebox, uncuffed me and told me to go home
After I refused several times to "confess" to a crime I didn't commit (seeing as I don't drink or smoke)

One went back to search my car again.

He came back after he found the firefighter emblem
He said "who's the firefighter?"

I responded "my dad"

They immediately uncuffed me without a word and said

"go home kid"
I don't smoke anything, I hate the smell of smoke and weed and at the time I worked for American Eagle airlines which has strict drug policies.

The cop showed me the weed he found

They fucking put that shit there
To clarify, this happened to me about 14 or 15 years ago.

New data shows that following the media backlash against the "right wing rabbit hole" Youtube took action to limit recommendations for political channels

Some of the biggest losses come from Progressives

Interestingly, It looks like Youtube increased my main channel viewership
There are a lot of reasons for this change and its hard to pinpoint the core cause

AOC and her supporters think billionaires have billions of dollars in liquid assets

They dont

Selling assets is complicated, value is complicated, net worth is complicated
and actually sometimes a bit nebulous

So for the most part no, no one *has* a billion dollars
The wealth tax on its face seems to be based on this premise.

How do you tax Bezos on 107.9 Billion dollars when it is almost entirely tied to Amazon stock?

Selling too much stock will lower the price and could shake the company.
Bezos 2019 net worth is listed as 107 Billion

Its mostly Amazon stock

His income for 2018 was 1.68M which included securities and benefits
His salary was about $81,000

Even at 1% wealth tax youre assuming he could liquidate 1.07 billion dollars in cash to cover that

The thing I love about this type of hierarchical environmentalism is that these people think they exist outside the system, that there is one great specter destroying the environment

There is no villain, there is only us

Change your own behavior before preaching to the world
They believe if they just tell the government to do it the problem stops

But people couldn't be damned to not take 30 minute showers during a drought in California, they certainly won't put down their Starbucks because you yell at them
Greta's angry display is off putting for many people and is not solving anything.

You can insult those who reject her all you want. You can call her detractors stupid

None of that matters

In the end you change nothing

You win no hearts

Over the last few days I’ve gotten a number of threatening comments because I do not believe that marijuana possession should be used as probable cause for stops and we need to work to limit police/civilian interactions. Let’s dive into the data/public policy on this.

Late one night this guy is speeding down the empty road. A cop sees him go flying past so chases him and pulls him over. The cop goes up to the car and when the man rolls down the window, he asks, "Are you aware of how fast you were going, sir?"

1️⃣ If they don't have a warrant to search or arrest, you can ask them to leave at any time. I'd also recommend posting "No Trespassing" signs

2️⃣ Lying to investigators is a separate crime in most (all?) states. Always better to say nothing at all than to answer dishonestly
Correct. Police can lie to you with impunity since the courts believe that's just good ol' fashioned detective work

I don't have cable. I spend my days in courtrooms, officers lie as a matter of routine

Question: Why did the FBI announce the reopening of Hillary’s email probe and issue its FIRST search warrant when her emails were discovered on Weiner’s laptop?
First, the fact that the FBI conducted an “investigation” involving computer servers, dozens of cell phones (smashed, SIM cards removed), and contradictory witness testimony for 12 months without getting a search warrant already screams “the fix was in”
The question is – if they went a full year with people smashing cell phones, bleaching hard drives, and removing SIM Cards without getting a search warrant, why would they get one 8 days before the election? Suspicious.
