The thing I love about this type of hierarchical environmentalism is that these people think they exist outside the system, that there is one great specter destroying the environment

There is no villain, there is only us

Change your own behavior before preaching to the world
They believe if they just tell the government to do it the problem stops

But people couldn't be damned to not take 30 minute showers during a drought in California, they certainly won't put down their Starbucks because you yell at them

None of that matters

In the end you change nothing

You win no minds
So I ask you

Who are you trying to convince?

The hippies who already agree?

Or the detractors who don't?

I assure you, this kind of display serves the opposite purpose to what you think it does
