It was an amazing 3 days, from the pre-conference student event to the @WIMSummit conference itself. I haven’t had enough time to properly reflect on everything that took place over the last few days. But I want to share a few thoughts on our first @WIMSummit
1. We had an incredible team who put together a fantastic conference. From our steering committee to student volunteers to
2. We had amazing speakers. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of this inaugural year. @JulieSilverMD @VictoriaMedvec @LaurieBaedke
3. Hearing Dr. Clance speak was an honor and a privilege and I feel so lucky to have been in the audience to hear her powerful words.
4. I could not have done any of this without the support of my incredible family and for that I am incredibly grateful.
5. If you were able to attend, I hope you will find the skills u learned to be useful not only in daily life, but in creating your “legacy statement.”
6. To those who came, thank u for taking the time, and for sharing your stories and experiences. Your insights were invaluable.
7. To @dancing_markers you are incredible. You surpassed our wildest expectations. Your artistry and skill is a gift and we were lucky to witness it.
8. Thank you for launching the #GenderMoonshot with us!
9. Congratulations to all our #IStandWithHer award winners and abstract winners.
We truly are #WIMStrongerTogether and our work does not stop when the conference #WIMSummit ends. Let’s keep the momentum going and make #genderparity a reality in healthcare. See you Oct 9-10 2020
