So in my quest to write #101Mimics, I've already done 1-25 (), 26-50 (), and 51-75 ().
Now to do the last 26!

76. Mimic wall with graffiti. Even ancient fantasy cities have graffiti, and a mimic being such a wall could send secret messages in the images, clean up when guards are nearby, and possible even start a gang war.
#101Mimics
77. Mimic sewer grate. Look if PCs hear a threating voice from JUST inside the sewer and children have gone missing? They’ll search the sewers, not the grate.
#101Mimics
78. Mimic catapult stone. No one will think it got fired into the hay bales on purpose, and they won’t realize there’s now a shapeshifting saboteur assassin in the castle.
#101Mimics
79. Mimic noose. In lands where the noose breaking spares you from execution, the mimic noose whispers a proposed deal for those about to be hung.
#101Mimics
80. Mimic set dressing. For the VERY best in illusion-free operate stage effects.
#101Mimics
81. Mimic false floor five feet down a pit trap. When adventurers decide that’s not a big deal and hop in, the mimic drops them the other 45 feet onto spikes at the real bottom.
#101Mimics
82. Mimic saddlebags. Exactly the size and shape you need to carry all your stuff, self-balancing, can hand things to you when you need them.
#101Mimics
83. Mimic giant spider web. There’s some risk adventurers will set fire to it, but most will just ignore it while busily looking for signs of the giant spider.
#101Mimics
84. Mimic dead skunk. Mostly, just a safe form the sleep in. No one ever bothers it.
#101Mimics
85. Mimic beehive. It takes patience, but bees will move in and make honey the mimic can sip at its leisure.
#101Mimics
86. Mimic gravestone. Great place to hide in the graveyard, and the adventurers you run into are most likely to be prepared for undead. Plus if you write an interesting epitaph but have it fade towards the end, someone might stick their face close trying to read it.
#101Mimics
87. Mimic plague marker. If the region has well-established markers for quarantine, plague, and contagions, this allows a mimic to cut off a whole down from the side of the road.
#101Mimics
88. Mimic gazebo. It was going to make the list eventually.
#101Mimics
89. Mimic Holy Symbol Memorial. A mimic pretty well always has a holy symbol to hold unholy things at bay. And can change as needed for different foes.
#101Mimics
90. Mimic eating utensils. A way for baby mimics to hide in a home and get the lay of the land, and an occasional nosh, until they are big enough to pretend to be chests.
#101Mimics
91. Mimic footbridge. Works with a troll, who hides under the bridge. If the troll can take a group, fine. If it needs help, the mimic has its back!
#101Mimics
92. Mimic grape-stomping vat. Maybe it’s just a place to hide, and take a sip now and then. Or maybe it’s the secret of the unique body of Chateau du Imiter (from the Imiter region of Taldor, or course!...)
#101Mimics
93. Mimic abstract sculpture. Honestly it just sneezed as someone walked in and caught it mid-morph. But folks were all so impressed, it didn’t have the heart to tell them it wasn’t a mysterious artistic masterpiece. Besides, this “Blakros Museum” place is nice.
#101Mimics
94. Mimic parachute. Not that the mimic has ever seen a parachute, it just fell out of a tower, freaked out, and formed a shape to fall more slowly. Now it needs partners to help market the idea...
#101Mimics
95. Mimic giant wheel of expensive, hard cheese. Preferably a cheese so expensive no one dares just “take a taste,” and one that’ll be rolled into a cheese storage vault.
#101Mimics #IfIWereAMimic
96. Baby mimic gold piece. Can be traded around a bit before deciding to steal some things its stored with and molt into am amulet or gemstone.
#101Mimics
97. Mimic wig. For enormous, unique coiffures without the wearing having to sit and wait for hours and hours to get it done. Can also make last-second changes to match a new pair of shoes.
#101Mimics
98. Mimic salt lick. When cattle come to lick it, it can grab their mouth from the inside, crawl down their throats, and choke them to death before eating them from the inside out.
#101Mimics
99. Mimic net. Sure, you’re entangled. And now it’s biting you, and staling your stuff...
#101Mimics
100. Mimic celestial ironwood mithral chainmail. Maybe a mimic wizard that can cast magic aura on itself. Point is it looks like perfect light magic armor, so you put it on instead of other armor...
#101Mimics
101. Mimic chest. But it’s inside a bigger, real chest. So by the time you get to it, no reason to think it’s the mimic. And the mimic chest may have a slightly smaller mimic pretending to be a chest inside of it. And a third inside that one...
