Day 2 of #SussexRoyalTour in Cape Town #RoyalVisitAfrica

- Harry & Meghan will first visit Monwabisi Beach to see work of @WavesForChange, @TheLunchboxFund & #SeaChangeProject which started from a small van 9 yrs ago & now helps 1,200 kids with their mental health. 🏄🏽‍♀️ 🏄🏼‍♂️ 🌊

- Harry joins @SAPoliceService Maritime Unit as Captain General @RoyalMarines on 🚤 to Seal Island
- Both will meet multi-faith leaders at @AuwalMasjid Mosque🕌
- Celebrate #HeritageDay in Bo-Kaap 🥳
- Reception @NigelCaseyHC residence where H&M staying (will we see Archie?!)👶🏼

#meghan has returned to the HC’s residence & Harry is now going out on a boat with @SAPoliceService & @RoyalMarines at Kalk bay. It’s too choppy & windy to go to Seal island 🌴 so H is taking the rib along the coast to learn about illegal abalone poaching. #RoyalVisitSouthAfrica

It was INCREDIBLY choppy on the sea as we went out with Harry, @RoyalMarines & CT’s Marine Unit. The 🌊 were massive and it was completely exhilarating. Harry got quite wet in the spray but did manage some good chat about stopping illegal poaching of abalones.

Harry enjoyed chatting to the 30 members of Cape Town’s marine unit who try to stop the illegal poaching of abalone snails. A couple of Brit @RoyalMarines have come out to train them in tactics and surveillance. A plate of 🐌 can sell for £420 in China: more than price of gold.

The residents of Bo-Kaap are in the party mood to celebrate #HeritageDay 🎉 🎊 Many people have come onto the streets to see Harry & Meghan. Heritage Day recognises and celebrates the cultural wealth of South Africa 🇿🇦 #RoyalVisitAfrica
