last summer jason blocked me for laughing about him complaining that i’m more popular than he is. today he blocked me again for making fun of him for being banned from his alma mater. the boy has thin skin.
hey jason, you got people killed. toughen up a little bit and accept responsibility.
jason, i didn’t send anybody “after” you. people just hate you all on their own, without any help from me. you’re very hateable.
now he’s just going through my tweets and screenshotting cool stuff i’ve said. that couldn’t have even been a keyword search - he’s just scrolling through all my posts 😂
i mean if we wanna play that game jason, we all remember this post.

genuinely puzzled as to why kolenich filed a response to the amended complaint but excluded some of his clients. the judge hasn't ruled on his motion to withdraw as cantwell's attorney and ruled AGAINST his motion to withdraw on behalf of azzmador.
i've seen the footage of that incident. he did not "get in a fight with" that man - he punched him, unprovoked. he pleaded guilty to that & is being sued.
[what kind of lawyer wouldn't take this opportunity to say kessler was, unfortunately, acquitted on those perjury charges?]
kolenich is a vile man. there is absolutely no reason to insult the woman your client assaulted. he was arrested for assaulting her. you know her name.

the sad thing about kessler is he really can't help himself. he can't stop making it worse for himself! he's so desperate for someone to take him by the hands & say "i'm sorry they didn't recognize your genius, i'm sorry they ruined your rally" that he JUST CANNOT STOP.
he has, somehow, miraculously escaped any kind of serious consequences for organizing a massive neonazi street riot that culminated in a hate crime murder. any sensible person would just walk away. move out west. change his name. get a job at a gas station. count his blessings.

Boy, this is a weird one. First, the "only safe barrier" against inappropriate behavior is the rule... that's outright admitting this isn't about appearances, but what the man *will* (not might, but *will*) do, given the chance.

And "Repressed weirdoes?" No one's saying that.
But the two oddities go together... if you think the flak that Pence and his disciples get is making fun of them for being "repressed", then you are admitting to a worldview in which, yes, it is inevitable that a man -- a Godly married man -- will "make a move" on a woman alone.
What @pegobry is saying is he thinks we're making fun of the candidate for *not* taking the opportunity to be alone with this woman and "do what comes naturally."

After reading @anthlittle, @ethanbdm and @rodrikdani views about whether concerns about causal identification should be weighed more heavily than the importance of research questions, I'm left thinking we are missing a big issue in this discussion 1/
Social scientific research is not just about assessing causal claims. I know, others have already pointed to the importance of descriptive research so that we can identify what causal questions are important, 2/
And I for sure agree with that. E.g., did you know most of the global expansion of public primary schooling took place *before* democracy? This implies it's really important to study how different factors affected educ provision under autocracy (which we haven't done much of) 3/

No Sanders on sked; he's on the other side of town rolling out the new version of Medicare for All during this session.
Hickenlooper setting the tone by laying out how Trump has sided w the right on labor issues: "It’s time we had a president who is proud to stand up for collective bargaining."
Most politically resonant part of Hickenlooper's bio is the period when he was laid off as a geologist. "You begin to see a different person in the mirror." Recalls how the government did "worse than nothing" by sending him to job training for a dead economic sector.
