In the Watergate investigation, which took place not just in those formal impeachment hearings but in separate congressional inquiries too, the case for impeachment was made methodically.

Televised hearings aired the evidence and turned public opinion.

The result of the methodical case against Nixon & his men was the resignation of the president, the resignation of the vice president for an unrelated scandal, and the imprisonment of his former attorney general and several top White House aides.

It was a marathon, not a sprint.

Trump took over the pageant in 1996. Here's the list of winners and their countries from that point to today.
It's a stupid, meaningless lie but it's a reminder that you really do need to fact-check every single thing he says.

If this is true, this strikes me as a serious misstep.

The House needs to hold extensive televised hearings to lay out the evidence and make the case for impeachment before they hold the actual vote.
I've been urging Pelosi to move ahead, but the hearings are the key, not the vote. They shouldn't rush this.
Look to the Senate Select Committee hearings in Watergate, and how much they moved the needle on public opinion and congressional opinion on removing Nixon:

@michaeljackson @Sony black a man outsmarted them in their own game - FACT. He not only owned his own publishing music rights but also The Beatles and Eminem's. He also bought publishing rights of black artists like Little Richard to Sly & the Family Stone and gave them back to them where they belong
@michaeljackson @Sony because they got screwed by the white man, like most colored (black, Latino) artists did back in the day - FACT. Music labels didn't like that, especially SONY, who managed Michael Jackson and left (with 50% of their music catalog, LOL) to become an independent artist.

Sylvester Stewart started his career in the early 1960’s as a popular radio disk jockey on San Francisco’s KDIA and KSOL. Through his relationship with his boss, Tom “Big Daddy” Donahue, he began producing and took on the stage name Sly Stone.
Sly Stone was a prolific musician. By the age of 11, he had already mastered the drums, keyboard, bass, and guitar. While DJ’ing he was also a playing keyboard for major artists like Marvin Gaye, the Righteous Brothers, and Dionne Warwick.

This video applies to the few uber wealthy black men who white supremacist society has seen as a threat and took whatever action necessary to neutralize them. but in this particular thread I’ll be speaking about Michael Jackson.
Whenever the dominant society feels a black man is too powerful or has something that they’re not supposed to, meaning a valuable asset that can be passed down to create wealth for generations such as a publishing catalog worth BILLIONS it puts an automatic target on their back.
During a time when it was unheard of for black artists to even get a halfway decent contract, not only did Michael Jackson the best selling artist of all time own his own publishing, but he also owned the publishing rights to the most iconic white band of all time the Beatles.
