1. Prayer: Communication with God. Matt. 6:7-13 (NKJV) - “And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. Therefore do not be like them. #Prayer
2.For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. #Prayer
3. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.’’ #Prayer
4. In John 3:2, Nicodemus’ statement affirms that when God is involved in your life, it will show; there will be a difference. When God is present in your life, you operate in power (Acts 10:38). I prophesy that wherever you show up, evil will be terminated. #Prayer
5. In Luke 11:1, one of the disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray believing that prayer must have something to do with his extraordinary results. #Prayer
6.Prayer; our connection to heaven is the key to supernatural living. Prayer brings heaven down. Remember, Man was designed to be inspired by God. Man cannot function at his full capacity without inspiration from God (Job 32:8). #Prayer
7.Prayer is simply communication with God. To many people, prayer is this intense activity that we engage in to get God to do something, but is that the primary purpose of prayer? Prayer is not an opportunity to give God commands. #Prayer
8. Prayer is communication and the foundation for that communication is relationship. #Prayer
9.God needs to be your father for prayer to make sense. Communication with God, our Father, must be normal. We’ve been told that prayer is a price that we must pay; I think God has been misrepresented here. #Prayer
10. The Holy Spirit is saying to me, beware of religion. Religion will give you conditions that must be met before you can satisfy God or receive His blessings. #Prayer
11.2 Corin. 5:18-19 depicts the heart of the New Testament: reconciliation with God. The whole essence of the gospel is reconciliation between God and man. Now that there’s a relationship, prayer becomes communication. #Prayer
12.The first premise for prayer, the starting point, is relationship. Are you in a relationship with God? We have to take prayer back to what it should be; it is communion with God, fellowship and hanging out with our Daddy! #Prayer
13.When we have a relationship with God, we are eager to be with Him. #Prayer
14.Jesus was always eager to be alone with the Father – Mark 1:35. In Ps 42:1-2 (NKJV), ‘’As the deer pants for the water brooks, So my soul pants for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?’’ #Prayer
15.I say prayer is for God lovers; prayer is not for selfish people who are looking for what to get out of God or how to use God to satisfy their whims and caprices. If you will ever get prayer right, you must be a God lover. #Prayer
16.A God lover is conscious of the price He paid, our love is in response to the love He has for us. #Prayer
17.When you read about Jesus you will find that he had extended periods of communion with God such as in Matt 14:23-25. When you’ve been hanging out with God you see things from God’s perspective (John 5:19, Jer. 33:3, Hab.2:1). God speaks in the place of Prayer. #Prayer
18.If Prayer is communication with God, then Prayer is a dialogue not a monologue. Leverage whatever your situation or circumstances are right now to deepen your relationship with God. #Prayer
19.If there’s one person that we know that prayed in the bible, David is a fantastic example. Someone is saying, ‘’I don’t even feeling like praying right now’’, if you told God that, you would have prayed! #Prayer
21.This season, you will come into the consciousness of the love of the Father for you. I pray that you feel the loving, enveloping arms of God around you in Jesus’ name. #Prayer
