I have a lot to say, announce or rant on here right now.

Back on Reddit there was a shakedown in the pwned sub's adminship that saw first an incompetent one then eventually a quite draconian one coming to power in whom the latter had subverted this place with many metaphorical book burnings, looking from before up till now.

Speaking about the first incompetent one he talked about turning the whole subreddit into a gaming place, which angered a lot of users.

After his attempt to change the sub was soundly rebuked he conceded and then left the moderator list after a while. The original sub moderator was too inactive so that the gamer guy was able to request it from Reddit.

Besides the gamer guy he also recruited another actual infosec member. The latter was the sole mod on there for a short time after the former left, then things went downhill from there...

...when a bossy lad came in and purged many contents including that of important ones from the sub. It's one thing to prohibit something after a point, but to retroactively enforce it can be way worse.

Therefore as a result the original "Operation Wrath of Anakin: Evolved" thread was oof'ed in wake of the turbulent situation and for all those who came for it by being linked from other sites here's this from the archive:

Keep in mind that the file link in that thread is effectively dead though. After spending 3 years on that sub it's sad to say that it has become a dumpster fire now.

The aforementioned sub, along with the Anonops IRC, were the places where my inception happened, so I'm gonna leave it with a very heavy heart. One cannot live in a cradle forever, although I'm open into returning should it change for the better.

Well, time for another topic. It's actually okay in itself in pursuing peace regarding the Eastern Ukraine war. But if that involves a full-on capitulation that will be a bone of contention.

Essentially in order for the elections to be held there the integrity of the border must be secured first by either Ukrainian guards or international peacekeeping personnel. If it wasn't done then the election is vulnerable to manipulation especially by the Russian side.

The so-called Steinmeier formula didn't provide such safeguards and if it were to be implemented it would preserve the LNR/DNR structures which in turn would risk eroding Ukraine as a whole.

Here's a better alternative, that won't involve such a risk.

An interim administration has to replace that of DNR/LNR's before going on the rest. Furthermore the alternative plan called for the deployment of the UN peacekeeping troops that are vital in suppressing possible insurgency by those who refuse to lose.

Some Ukrainian nationalists do feel that the DNR/LNR controlled area are not worth to be re-integrated so perhaps a renewed and truly fair referendum after a UN interim administration can be on the table too.

But pursuing to Ukrainian constitution, a nationwide referendum has to take place first. Citizens then can vote for whether to go by the Minsk protocols as usual or go for the complex alternative option.

Realistically speaking the Russian side would seek to manipulate the process for their own benefit at the expense of UA and Steinmeier formula was their best shot for it. Hence a great amount of pressure on the former might be necessary for a solution that suits all sides.

Now, another one. I might add some "Save the planet" elements in my future actions because as like many others, I believe that addressing the climate change issue is vital in order to help keep our society as a whole going.

On the internet, there's the looming upload filter caused by #Article13 that threatened it all.

On the real life, there's the looming #climate issue caused by rising CO2 levels that threatened us as a whole.
