or would Firtash just be the money bags who could fund a political dirt operation to benefit Trump in exchange for Trump legal intervention
in his case, to be pursued by Toensing/DiGenova amd seemingly Giuliani
(much like the legal intervention we read this week that Giuliani and Mukasey asked of Trump on the Turkish Iranian gold trader Zarrab)
not clear to me exactly how Trump expected to benefit for springing Zarrab. I doubt it was just Brunson. But we know what the quid pro quo
would be with Firtash & Trump (mediated by Giuliani, Toensing, DiGenova): political dirt to benefit Trump in elex 4lifting extradition reqst

between when Trump said all troops leaving Syria in December & last Sunday Trump call w/Erdogan, they could have done an orderly withdrawal
but instead it is cut and run with no planning and Kurdish and other allies got no consultation
both decisions were prompted by Erdogan calls with Trump, and Trump acquiescence

Since the Philly refinery explosions rocked my apartment this morning, I have been fucking terrified.

Not of smoke or fire, but of possible clouds of bone-dissolving acid- an actual VERY REAL THREAT during refinery explosions.

How do I know so many made-up stories about how the Enigma code was cracked and didn't know until yesterday how interesting the real story is? A volunteer at the National Museum of Computing at Bletchley Park just casually blew my mind with a bit of the story. /1
We asked how they came to have an Enigma machine at Bletchley Park, and he said "the Polish postal service intercepted it just before the Germans invaded". No U-Boats, no battles, no heroic Allied Officers - a postman. /2
I looked it up when I got home and here's everything I could find. There may be actual paper books that tell the story more coherently, but on the internet I could only find little bits that all fitted together - I'd love a recommended read if anyone knows one!
