1/ Some thoughts on bad fund raising advice that is prevalent. The most obvious - don't try to rush the process. You have more at stake in getting it wrong than the investor does
2/ I keep hearing advice that good VCs need to make rapid decisions. This is bad advice for investors. But it's much worse for founders. Investors can take a write-off if they screw up, founders will struggle to change their cap tables
3/ If you try to run a "quick process" so you can "get back to running the company" you're likely to choose based on brand or price or speed. None of these are the most important attributes for your investor ... they are all just inputs
