“Human scum” ... This is your president. I know we are all weary of the daily grind of it. Please don’t harden or become immune. This is how authoritarians win and the stakes are higher than you may think. Study the dehumanization of pre WWII Germany leadership
2/ “scum,” “vermin,” rodents” - all Nazi references to Jews, Romani, gay people ... anybody not on board with the “master.” I hope we can all align as “Never (again) Trumpers.” If you read one book please let it be “In the Garden of Beasts” to understand the history at hand
3/ Like you, I’ve tried to get back to “tech things”and not let Trump dominate my emotions or psyche and hoped to wait for 2020 for vindication. I’m afraid we don’t have that luxury. He will stop at nothing to lean on scales as self-interested people enable it. Be vigilant now
