Nasralllah: Installing a new government or new elections waste of time we don't have. Current parliament & cabinet would only by reproduced. This government has to tackle the situation.
Calls for different economic/fiscal approach that does not rely on taxing the poor. Emphasizes anti-corruption, denies that Hizbollah wants to go after the banks (but also says there issues with the banks = some contribution from the financial section necessary)
HN: The poor will only accept to pay a part of the price if they see that everybody else also sacrifices, but not if they see waste and scandals in the volume of millons.
Responds do reported demands for HA to take to the streets, according to previous pledges they would if policies against the poor were imposed: we are in government and parliament and the debate there isn't over & we will use all available tools there before taking that step.
When we take to the streets we will stay there until our demands are met, if it takes two years. If we take to the streets, all equations will change. This is not a step we take lightly. There is still time for everybody to pull themselves together and assume responsibility.
To sum up: Government needs to stay, shape up, clamp down on waste, get the rich and the banks to pay up, minimize impact on the poor. We are ready to give full support for such an approach. Better make that happen, before WE decide to lead a social revolution.
