The Mueller team litigated for months to compel Andrew Miller and other witnesses to testify before the grand jury. But Don Jr. wasn’t worth putting under oath??

For some, suspicions of Rep. Gabbard stretch back to when Russia first intervened in Syria. The Russians claimed to be targeting ISIS but stirred protests when they bombed anti-Assad rebel areas with no known ISIS presence. Gabbard had a different take. nytimes.com/2015/10/01/wor…

Congresswoman Gabbard’s early defense of the Russian intervention contradicted news reports that Russia was targeting anti-Assad rebels and civilian areas. As the war went and civilian casualties mounted, it became evident Gabbard’s defense of Russia’s bombing was false.

I realize that this denouement is somewhat embarrassing for parts of the press, but it seems untenable to me that it can just be swept under the rug on a Friday evening.
Huge crowds throughout the country bellowed "LOCK HER UP" about the Dem nominee allegedly mishandling classified information.

The GOP nominee promised on a debate stage that if he were elected, then she would be in jail.

It all just fizzled away.

JUST IN: Judge Howell says DOJ improperly redacted a recent filing to prohibit the House from learning the identities of two witnesses who *didn't* testify to the grand jury.

She also adds this curious bit questioning why Mueller didn't seek to subpoena these unnamed witnesses.
Howell also notes that DOJ's claim -- that revealing the identities of people who didn't testify to the grand jury would help the House identify who did -- omits the fact that DOJ willingly revealed that they considered but did not subpoena Trump.

Just in: DC federal judge found DOJ wrongly redacted the names of witnesses who did *not* testify before the Mueller grand jury in a doc filed in court. So that info must be made public — judge notes two people "figured in key events" in Mueller's report ecf.dcd.uscourts.gov/cgi-bin/show_p…
It just occured to me that referring to people who did *not* testify before the Mueller grand jury as "witnesses" might be confusing/imprecise, apologies for that. These people were potential grand jury witnesses, we don't know anything else about them yet

The judge ordered DOJ to file a version with parts of paragraph 4 unsealed, which identify two people who didn't go before the grand jury but "figured in key events in the Mueller report"
