How much thought have you put into where your red line is? How much are you willing to sacrifice to ensure that the next generation has the opportunity to live in a nation governed by the rule of law? These are very important questions for us all to consider.
People who wait for a crisis before they decide what they’re going to do usually don’t make very good decisions. People who think ahead and consider their neighbors are less likely to find themselves standing alone in times of trouble.
There are lots of factors to consider and we are a diverse people so we aren’t all going to come to the same conclusions. We aren’t all going to have the same priorities. The entity that should be providing command structure is the very thing that has turned against us.
Without some kind of unity and cooperation, we won’t accomplish anything good. Without some way of culling the nuts, any movement self destructs. These things have to be thought through individually and cooperatively.
Did you know pilots are trained to continuously scan for the best available crash landing sight from the time they take off until the time that they land? Most will never have to but the ones who do will have a better chance because they didn’t wait for a crisis to plan for one.
“How much are you willing to sacrifice” is a tough question. It’s easy to say we’d die for these people or those causes. It’s a lot harder to live for them. Jesus said “count the cost.” If a person changes their mind when others are depending on them, they do more harm than good.
Mortal life isn’t the worst thing to loose in a campaign. Relationships, economic security, home, liberty, comfort and many other things can be more painful to loose than life. People should know their limits and their priorities. How much crap will you take before risking all?
Please be honest with yourself. If all you’ve got to contribute is a little, it’s better than nothing and it’s way better than costing more than you contribute because of a change of heart at a critical moment. Boot camp tends to work these issues out. We don’t have that luxury.
If you know yourself in that question, it’s time to ask the other one. How do you know where to draw the line? How do you decide when enough is enough? How does your neighbor decide? If everyone makes a stand at different times, no one will accomplish anything.
Some people are already past that point. Maybe they see the threat and want to nip it in the bud. Maybe some of them are just looking for a fight. Foolish allies can do as much damage as enemies. Always look for clues about the motives of those around you.
Some people would draw their line at self defense against violence. A few might be cowards but not all of them. Some are stuck in denial and some might be genuine pacifists. It’s possible to be sincere and misguided at the same time.
Again one reason this question matters for each of us individually and for us all collectively is that without unity, there is only failure. Where on the scale are you between “lets roll” and “shhh, don’t stir things up,” also how flexible are you to match up with your neighbors?
Many people would say that their red line would be at the point that they try to disarm us. That’s the furthest back that the red line can be because if we ever surrender to that we will have surrendered to everything. No line we draw after that would have any real meaning.
Most are watching and waiting to see if Trump succeeds at exposing and removing the swamp creatures. If they succeed at removing him, there’s no one left to remove them except for us. They will have free reign unless we stop them. Can you put a red line there?
Some might say that waiting for a senate vote would be too dangerous. They’d put the red line between the house voting to impeach and the senate taking up the trial. How flexible are you willing to be to ensure that we are united? Making a stand alone is foolish.
I’d prefer to hold off to see what the House does but I can hold my peace until after the senate decides. I don’t think it would be wise to wait that long but a decision like that needs to be made with a broad range of minds looking from many angles.
Circumstances may make the decision for us. It may be helpful to get an idea of where people are on the subject. What is your red line?
This last question is just as important as the first two. What methods are you willing to employ? This one is important to me and I don’t see any reasonable argument against my position so I can’t very well give a broad overview. I am passionate about the following point.
The end doesn’t justify the means. If we become evil in our battle against evil, what are we fighting to preserve?

"Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good." (Romans 12:21)

We are not antifa. We are not terrorists. If our objective is good, our method must be too.
I’m not talking about weakness or pacifism. I’m talking about self control and wisdom. If we are careful and cull the nuts, violence may be unnecessary. If the police and military see that we are standing for the rule of law, they may stand with us or at least not oppose us.
If they continue to conspire to overthrow the election through a sham impeachment process, we need to start a mass impeachment of our own. We need to demand the resignations of every member of the house. The senate needs to keep enough to confirm judges.
Then Trump needs to clean house in the executive branch knowing that he has the support of the people. I’ve listed some objectives but how do we accomplish them without violence? I’m so glad you asked. First, every able American needs to load up camping gear and provisions.
Then we need enough of us to go to Washington so that we can completely surround it. The rest of the people need to go to their state capital. If we barricade outside Washington, we can shut the capital down without hurting anyone. The states capital gatherings will show unity.
If we protest in a united but peaceful manner, we can restore constitutional rule of law and equal justice under the law. They have conspired to commit sedition and some have committed treason. We must stand with our president to preserve the constitution and the republic.
If we could make them see that we are serious, we may be able to prevent such a scenario. Maybe we should pick a weekend and all of us go to our state capitals as a show of force to warn them that we will not allow them to overthrow elections and the peaceful transition of power.
I have found a flaw in my plan. I can’t stand the idea of the blockade preventing a parent from reaching their child or a rescue vehicle from reaching a heart attack victim. We can’t promote justice by creating injustice. The method has to be as noble as the motive.
