Based on Zuckerberg answers to @AOC yesterday, we now know people on his leadership team knew about Cambridge Analytica scraping personal data prior to Dec 2015 Guardian report but we’re also supposed to believe Zuckerberg did NOT know until March 2018. cnbc.com/2019/08/23/fac…
For his testimony to be accurate, it would require suspension of common sense. Zuckerberg would be unaware of 2.5 years of covering up by Facebook, questions and reports from press on a matter which ultimately erased $35B from its market cap in minutes.

This matters because his answers haven’t been consistent (see @SenKamalaHarris, @USRepMikeDoyle, @SenWhitehouse, @RepAnnaEshoo) and expose an extended period where Facebook was by design a known security risk while collecting personal data, revenue and capturing market share.
Watch @AOC questions to Zuckerberg yesterday and then watch his CTO answer to @IanCLucas. This isn’t just anyone but a Zuckerberg lieutenant. On his leadership team and the chosen one last year to testify to Parliament @CommonsCMS instead of Zuckerberg.
Facebook’s Chief Product Officer Chris Cox was supposed to testify but was replaced by CTO at the last minute. I wonder what he would have known for the same questions. Cox surprised everyone and jumped ship from Facebook last year after 15years there.
