Director Wray addressed law enforcement officials from around the world today at the IACP Annual Conference and Exposition. He focused on themes of leadership in law enforcement that he has reinforced while at the #FBI, particularly the importance of partnership. #IACP2019
Director Wray: In field office after field office, I’m hearing the SACs and field office leaders say, “Let me tell you how great our partners are. Let me tell you about this great thing we’re able to do with this department.” #IACP2019
Director Wray: I routinely get briefings during my field office visits, and a lot of the time, Task Force Officers (TFOs) are now actively participating, even leading the briefings. #IACP2019
Director Wray: Things like that speak volumes about the quality of the TFOs that we have and about how we’ve changed the way we do business at the FBI. #IACP2019
Director Wray: We’ve got to make sure your two plus our two equals more than just four—that we push it to five, six, or seven...because the reality is that the threats we face today are too diverse, too dangerous, and too all-encompassing for any of us to tackle alone. #IACP2019
Director Wray: We’ve got limited time, limited resources, and a whole lot of responsibilities...but we know the law enforcement family has the strength and the resilience to weather just about any storm. #IACP2019
Director Wray: We’ve got to stay focused on keeping people safe and enforcing the rule of law... We've got to keep our eyes on the future, finding new ways to work even more closely together. #IACP2019
#ICYMI Director Wray spoke at the IACP Annual Conference last weekend, where he stressed how the #FBI’s commitment to collaborate with our law enforcement partners drives our work: "You know the old saying: One team, one fight.” #IACP2019 ow.ly/WlB630pNHAL
