The fire is at 66,231 acres and at 5% containment. Fire was first reported at 9:24 PM near the Geysers at a power plant on 10/23.

Tomorrow we'll enter into another critical wind event. Here's what our NOAA meteorologist who is on the fire says: "The magnitude looks similar to when the Kincade Fire started." (That is not a good thing)

Portions of where the fires are burning are in areas of steep terrain with narrow roads - Chalk Point, Sugarloaf Hill & rugged areas SW Mt St Helena. Teams continue to mitigate structures and construct control lines.

@safariwest is OK right now. The fire butted up against the back of the property last night. At 2:30 AM they reported "We’re pleased to report that at this time Safari West has experienced no ill effects from the Kincade Fire."
