There was no impeachment vote in the House.

This upcoming vote is a resolution NOT an Articles of Impeachment vote and it references "continue their ongoing investigations as part of the existing House of Representatives inquiry"

If democrats authorize an official investigation now, that would vacate all previous demands and findings as unauthorized.

This Pelosi non-impeachment resolution is hilarious. It goes out of its way to avoid authorizing a specific investigation and delegation of authority and instead repeatedly references an "investigation" that under the rules of the House doesn't even exist. docs.house.gov/billsthisweek/…
Pelosi's resolution references "the existing House of Representatives inquiry," but no such House of Representatives investigation exists, because the House of Representatives never authorized one. And this resolution doesn't either.
Pelosi and House Democrats are clearly trying to play games with the U.S. Court of Appeals in D.C. and are hoping that the federal judges won't notice their sleight of hand in trying to claim unlimited impeachment investigative authority without actually voting to delegate it.

1) Directs the committees "to continue" their ongoing investigations.

2) Sets up 90 min rounds of questioning to be controlled by chairman and ranking member at open hearings *before* members get their 5 minutes. And staffers may ask Q's...

3) The GOP minority may request the appearance of certain witnesses, if they submit "detailed written justification of the relevance of the testimony."

4) Minority subpoenas MAY be granted, subject to approval by the chair, appealable to the full committee.
5) Electronic transcripts of the depositions taken thus far, "with appropriate redactions," may be made public.

6) The Intel Cmte's report may be transmitted to Judiciary and made public.
