In a Facebook post under the name "John S Mosby," Arena allegedly posted this photo of himself with a rifle and a comment, "Coming to a synagogue near you soon." The post also referenced the neo-Nazi book "SIEGE." (3/x)
The feds say Arena also posted a meme depicting a bleeding woman being hanged, and the text "Race mixing whores get the fucking rope!" I'm not posting this one, but it's marked as Government Exhibit 4. (4/x)
In January, Arena allegedly posted messages on Facebook under the name "John S Mosby" claiming he had intimidated someone he believed to be a federal witness.
In those same messages, Arena allegedly also claimed to have "files on a lot of Autifa," presumably a misspelling of Antifa.
In the court filing, prosecutors said Arena at some point was unknowingly chatting online "with FBI Online Confidential Employees." (7/x)
Prosecutors said in their filing that "it is clear that no condition or combination of conditions will reasonably assure the safety of any other person or the community." So they asked the judge to hold Arena behind bars pending his trial.
