2/ Two months after the deadly rally in Charlottesville, we published our first story. It was about the Rise Above Movement, a group of violent white supremacists who showed up at Trump rallies in California. propub.li/2NEHuuo

3/ We identified several RAM members who turned up in Charlottesville and California and attacked counter-protesters—like Ben Daley.

5/ We also found Vasillios Pistolis, a U.S. Marine and onetime member of the neo-Nazi group Atomwaffen Division. Pistolis attacked a trans woman at the Charlottesville rally and then bragged about it online. propub.li/2uLm3Rf

6/ Shortly after our report exposed Pistolis, he was court-martialed. A Marine Corp spokesman told us he would be jailed for a month, demoted and then likely forced from service.

7/ Speaking of Atomwaffen, through leaked chat logs, we were able to identify more members of this neo-Nazi group, some of whom openly discussed their interest in domestic terrorism within the chats. propub.li/2uJ7mOs

8/ Then a few months ago, we tracked down Michael Miselis. He was a PhD student at UCLA and an aerospace engineer at Northrop Grumman, a prominent military contractor. Miselis also held a security clearance. propub.li/2Lge7BQ

9/ Here he is punching a black man, who is already on the ground, in Charlottesville.
