This is political campaigning on behalf of the Tories and India's BJP. No temple or charity is allowed to do this as it's against Charity Commission rules.

Some MYTHS:
1) BJP-backers don't get to sign up Sikhs for this. Sikhs don't support the BJP in India or in the UK. Most Sikh groups have been saying what happened in Kashmir is not that different to Sikhs in 1984.
2) Even most Hindus aren't signed up to the BJP project.

3) Ask Tamil (or any non-Gujarati) Hindus in Britain if they support the BJP. Likely answer - NO!
Plus a lot of British Gujarati Hindus have also been shouted down in the community to support the BJP and its allies. Appalling to see mandirs allowing this to happen publicly.

In 2015 and 2017 the National Council of Hindu Temples (NCHT) sent out newsletters urging people to vote Conservative.
