A Hindu temple in Britain (a charity) is allowing people to make speeches urging them to vote Conservative because Labour won't support the Indian govt on Kashmir.
So problematic on so many levels
If you know which Mandir this happened at - please DM me. My DMs are open.
1) BJP-backers don't get to sign up Sikhs for this. Sikhs don't support the BJP in India or in the UK. Most Sikh groups have been saying what happened in Kashmir is not that different to Sikhs in 1984.
2) Even most Hindus aren't signed up to the BJP project.
Plus a lot of British Gujarati Hindus have also been shouted down in the community to support the BJP and its allies. Appalling to see mandirs allowing this to happen publicly.
In 2015 and 2017 the National Council of Hindu Temples (NCHT) sent out newsletters urging people to vote Conservative.
I reported them to Charity Commission in 2015 and 2017.

The point is: this has long happened under the radar. Now they're using Kashmir to stoke up more propaganda.
