Oh holy shit this is their *bad* grapes?
I took this to a restaurant that is actively upsetting me with how pretentious it is, and that’s a high fucking bar. Foie gras chocolate, bread, wagyu with liquid nitrogen pepper snow, pickled quail egg stuffed with bacon. They don’t even let me pour my own wine.
This is a “pheasant corn dog”. There is literally no reason to serve this! The meat’s flavor is completely masked by the spicy relish and the rest of it is indistinguishable from a standard corn dog. Complete waste in the name of pursuing novelty.
Other courses: Foie gras (impossible to mess up), elk with parsnip bark (rice was undercooked, basic error), molasses cookie with sorghum (?) ice cream, and a “spice cake” with a total of 4 grams of cake.
