Everybody has hundreds of thousands of sensors loaded in the skin of their feet. Your posture would collapse like a house of cards if these receptors stopped doing their work. They describe the ground to your brain.

This communication dictates the muscle tone of your upper body.
Scientists scratched the feet of their subjects to stimulate 41 specific receptors. The stimulation induced a rapid change of muscle tone in the upper limb, notably in the triceps and deltoids.

The signal sent by your feet to your brain sets your posture from head to toe.
Take care of your feet and you will see fast results everywhere else in your body. Many who consult with me for pain and performance problems have an asymmetry between the left and right arches when I assess them. The two sides touch the floor differently.
