Three years ago, I cast a vote. It was the first vote in many, many, many years where I voted FOR someone. Sadly, most of my votes over the last several decades have been voting against the greater of two evils. For the last 3 years, the left have tried to cancel my vote.
I don't have a problem with opposition. It's normal in a Republic. However, when the other side attempts to suppress my vote, to deny the peaceful hand over of power from one group to the next, to rewrite an election, to censor my voice, to punish my exercise of political power;
...well, at that point the opposition becomes something more than just normal opposition. It's three years on and the left continues their attempt to silence a massive % of the population, to change the very fabric and rules by which we have agreed to live as a society.
I find that effort totally unacceptable. The idea that the opposition thinks enacting coups is the way to get what they want; disgusts & angers me to my core.
A year from now, I will once again be able to vote FOR someone but I'll also be excited to vote against those bastards.
